    绝对真理

    讲堂上,先生云:“此世间有绝对真理也。”
     
    同学问道:“所谓绝对之真理何者也?”
     
    师曰:“绝大多数人所认定之事也,诸如民主政治等等。”
     
    生又问道:“吾等可有权不选择之,甚至弃之?”
     
    师曰:“然也。虽是绝对,但个人有其思想之权利,并无必须接纳之义务也。”
     
    吾问此谈甚有所触,中华五千年之文明直至今日常有不可动摇,处于绝对地位之物也,彼视之为权威或主宰,因然惧怕己身沾染亵渎之嫌。西方之发展,诚然有物竞天择之由,但挑战绝对真理之行径屡见不鲜也。否则,怎有马丁路德建立新教后欧陆政教分离,怎有麦哲伦环游世界知地球为圆,怎有法国之大革命尊人民之政治?古人云:“朝闻道夕死可以。”可惜我华夏常于未闻道之前便将死去,哀哉!不宁惟是,心中存绝对之真理也。问:如何战胜心理之痼疾呼?吾请答方法有二,一是多读国外学人之著作,从中体味论事之角度;二是倘时机成熟便真在西方体验其人文之环境以达开辟精神之目的。虽然,凡此二者皆基于个人思想有无之上,若有则锦上添花,若无则仍为无有也,其论甚易:有思想者基数为一,加入挑战真理之元素一,则为二也;无思想者基数为零,即使尝试闻道却无所想,加入元素为零也,零加零仍为零,此道理众人皆明也。故,欲质疑绝对之真理,必先有个人之思想,从而发心底之勇气,再由外部吸取增加挑战能力之元素,便可一举推翻之。壮哉壮哉!
